Aromas of cherries and raspberries, framed by sweet new oak, introduce the 2022 Marsannay Champs Saint Etienne, a medium-bodied, succulent red with lively acids and powdery tannins.

The 2022 Marsannay Champs Saint-Etienne, from more clayey soils, offers more red berry fruit on the nose compared to other cuvées. Raspberry, cranberry and rose petal scents filter through its bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins. This is an expressive Marsannay with admirable mineralité toward the finish. It's worth hunting down.
