Score 93/100 · Drink 2025-2040, Jeb Dunnuck, Jun 2025

Juicy red and black fruits, sappy underbrush, truffle, and leather notes all define the 2010 Château Petit Faurie De Soutard, a medium-bodied, elegant wine that has juicy acidity, nicely resolved tannins, and outstanding length. It's not the biggest or richest wine in the vintage, yet it has remarkable purity and balance. It's beautifully done. Drink 2025-2040.

This is an aggressively tannic, austere and tough style of wine that I found lacking charm and depth.
