Aromas of sweet cherries, raspberries and licorice introduce the 2022 Petit Faurie de Soutard, a medium to full-bodied, lively and mineral wine that's currently produced in very small quantities, as much of the vineyard is being replanted.

Sweet black cherries, sappy flowers, blood orange, and spicy wood notes all emerge from the 2022 Château Petit Faurie De Soutard, a juicy, medium-to-full-bodied effort that's nicely balanced and has integrated tannin. It's not massive or overtly concentrated, yet it has this upfront, juicy, approachable style that should keep nicely for 10-12+ years or more. The 2022 is 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc.
The 2022 Petit Faurie de Soutard takes time to cohere in the glass. It features mainly black fruit commingling with marine scents alongside a touch of tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannins. This is a "juicy" Saint-Émilion with countervailing acidity, modest depth and a liberal sprinkling of white pepper on the finish. Enjoy this after a couple of years in bottle.
A floral and brambly nose with violets, crushed blueberries and red berries. Juicy and firm, this has medium to full body and tight, chalky tannins. Lots of fruit in the lengthy finish as well. Drink from 2026.
