Smells pretty animal! Very chunky and foursquare. Raw tannins and oak. Old-fashioned. (JR)

Neat – the upright school of Pomerol – quite severe with lots of tannin. Quite fresh but not very fleshy. (JR)

This chunky-styled Pomerol displays notes of sweet cherries, smoked herbs, licorice, chocolate, and espresso roast. Medium-bodied, fleshy, and corpulent, it is a fruity, fleshy effort that should drink well for 8-10+ years.
