Tasting notes
A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot, the 2023 Domaine De La Solitude (Pessac-Léognan) has a vibrant ruby hue as well as bright cherries, minty herbs, and floral notes, with some classic Graves smoky tobacco and darker earth nuances. It's medium-bodied, juicy, and lively, with bright acidity and ripe, polished tannins. This elegant 2023 will keep for two decades. Drink 2026-2045.

The 2023 Domaine de la Solitude is a plump, juicy red. Blood orange, chalk, mint and white pepper lift the aromatics nicely. Give this a year or two to soften.
The 2023 Domaine de la Solitude has a light but elegant bouquet with blackberry, raspberry, cedar and light violet scents, hints of black olive emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, a gentle but insistent grip with a refined and sapid finish that is a testament to some prudent winemaking. Delicious.
Earthy and herbal, showing eucalyptus, black currants and elderberries. The medium- to full-bodied palate has an imposing tannin structure complemented by fleshy, delineated dark fruit. Juicy.A blend of 65% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot and 5% petit verdot. Firm, yet with linear charm. Better from 2028.
