Score 93/100 · Drink 2026-2045, Jeb Dunnuck, Mar 2026

Checking in as 100% Sémillon vinified and aged 18 months in 20% new oak, the 2023 Castelnau De Suduiraut offers honeyed orange, brioche, toasted bread, and hints of fig. It's ripe, medium-bodied, pure, and layered, with a graceful mouthfeel, remarkable purity, integrated acidity, and outstanding length. This is a beautiful Sauternes that will shine over the coming two decades. Drink 2026-2045.
