Score 96-98/100 · Drink 2027-2060, Neal Martin, Dec 2021

The 2020 Montrachet Grand Cru is one of the biggest crops...150-litres...the maximum in ten years. The nose is reticent at first, opens slowly in the glass, crushed stone, scents of Golden Delicious and yellow plum, a bit like a Ducati revving its engine. The palate is beautifully balanced with a fine thread of acidity. This is slightly honeyed, a fine line of acidity, taut and fresh with a very intense finish. Gorgeous.
