The 2022 La Bota de Florpower 119 MMXXII is similar to the Navazos-Niepoort, but in this case, it's produced with grapes from Sanlúcar de Barrameda. So, if the Navazos-Niepoort is like an unfortified Fino, this would be like an unfortified Manzanilla. It has 11.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.05, 5.4 grams of acidity and feels bone dry. It was sourced from two plots in Miraflores la Baja and fermented in 600-liter butts, where it matured for eight months. This time, they didn't age it in stainless steel like other vintages, as the biological aging in barrel was very intense. It has the tasty salinity from the place, complexity, nuance, balance and depth. This is among the best bottlings for this wine. 5,000 bottles produced.
