The 2021 Chablis Grand Cru Blanchots is ample and enveloping, wafting from the glass with aromas of orange zest, pear, honeycomb, white flowers and delicately musky top notes, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless palate that concludes with a saline, gently exotic finish.

Taken from tank, the 2021 Chablis Blanchot Grand Cru has a bright bouquet with freshly sliced lime, yellow plum and crushed stone. With fine acidity and a firm balance, the palate highlights citrus peel and orange rind; it's lightly spiced with a twist of sour lemon on the finish. I was expecting more; although, winemaker Marc Cameron mentioned that it was tasting much better a couple of weeks ago.
