Tasting notes
White peach and spices on the very discreet nose. Tactile but quite taut on the palate, showing a strong mineral underpinning to its peach oil and pit flavors accented by white pepper. Finishes chewy, dry and youthfully closed, in need of bottle aging. This will surely merit a higher score if it shows more pliancy with time in the cellar.

Closed nose, brooding palate. Refreshing acid, slight saline character, very savoury and intellectual. (RH)
Aromas of peach, pineapple and brown spices. Tightly wound and a bit youthfully ungiving, with strong acidity keeping the peach and lemon flavors under wraps. Seems less ripe and more closed-in on itself than most of Colin's premier crus from Chassagne, with a faint hard edge on the finish that may be the result of hail.
