From Jurassic soils with iron-rich loam and aged in barrels for 20 months, the unfiltered 2020 Pinot Noir Rhini opens with a deep, refined, intense and elegant nose of dark fruits, meat, cacao, toast and spices. It's awesome in its freshness and purity that reveals terroir and perfectly ripe cherry and dark berry aromas! Silky and lush on the palate, this is a generous but elegant and refreshingly mineral Pinot with still young but remarkably vital and stringent acidity that leads to a pure yet tight and crunchy as well as saline finish. This 2020 will show all its class in three to five years, but it can go for up to 20 years. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork stopper (Amorim). Tasted in November 2022.
