The 2021 Le Moulin feels smudged and lacks complexity on the nose. The palate is soft and green with a bitter finish. I cannot find many redeeming features based on this sample.

This 2.5-hectare Pomerol estate below Château Rouget, vinified by Paul Junet, has turned in a solid performance with the 2021 Le Moulin. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and polished, it's a generous, fleshy wine evocative of sweet berries, cherries and plums.

You can see careful extraction where they have tried to keep the focus on the fruits, and a grilled coffee bean and marzipan edge, but underneath is the a slightly angular mix of tannins and acidity. A 2.4ha estate owned by Michel Querre, heavy bottle.
