La Morra. Mid ruby. Deep and alluring cherry nose with cinnamon notes. Rich and deep cherry fruit on the palate, a real seducer of a wine. Very immediate and generous but well balanced too. (WS)

The 2018 Barolo Giachini is super-classy and elegant. There is a feeling of nervous tension that runs through the Giachini that is super-appealing. Crushed flowers, kirsch, spice and mint open gradually with a bit of air. The 2018 is very nicely done, although it clearly shows the more mid-weight feel of the year.
