Tasting notes
The 2017 Lemberger GG Fellbacher Lämmler is deep, clear and precise on the elegant, pure and coolish, concentrated and spicy nose. Full-bodied, round and intense on the palate, this is a concentrated yet silky-textured, fresh and fruit-intense Lemberger with a tight yet fine tannin structure, lots of tension, grip and vitality but also finesse. Tasted from AP 3319 in November 2019 and April 2020.

Gingerbread and cherries. And there is charcuterie. SO peppery on the nose! Explodes in the mouth. Eucalyptus berries. Totally wired with life. Tannins are strong, lean, ripe but winding through the fruit rather than on top or beside it. So much fruit and orange-peel oil and beautiful Campari-like bitterness. Long, tireless finish. Stunning wine. (TC)
