Tasting notes
Score 89/100 · Drink 2005-2014, Robert Parker, Apr 2003

An elegant, pure, stylish wine from proprietor Pascal Chatonnet, the 2000 l'Archange exhibits a deep saturated purple color, with a sweet nose of black cherries and blackberries. It is sweet, rich, medium to full-bodied, with low acidity, and plush, concentrated fruit flavors. The wine reveals some tannin, but it is largely obscured by the impressive ripeness and fleshy style. Anticipated maturity: 2005-2014.
