Tasting notes
The nose of the NV Malvasía Aromática Naturalmente Dulce is amazing, with notes of dried apricots, marmalade, orange peel, royal jelly, quince paste, white pepper, blond tobacco and a touch of varnish and nuts. It's a blend of 2021 (300 liters), 54 liters from 2022 and another 54 liters from 2024, 2022 and 2024 in glass demijohn and the 2021 in stainless steel, where it was kept until it was blended. They didn't make it in 2023, the year of the killer heat waves. This blend was done in September 2025, and Viki feels the wine needs time in bottle and is going to wait one more year to release it. The palate is very intense, velvety and round, dense, concentrated and powerful. It comes in at some 14.5% alcohol. It has around 120 grams of sugar and doesn't feel too sweet at all, perhaps lifted by some volatility too. I find it to be superb, phenomenal. Almost 600 half-liter bottles produced. The price has not yet been set.
