Tasting notes
The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Charmois is a little deeper in colour than the Aux Lavières. Dark berry fruit commingles with tea leaf on the nose that gains intensity with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine definition, more substance here than the Aux Lavières with a sappiness that urges another sip. Quite precise. Dink over the next 12-15 years.

Cask sample. Mid cherry. Red cherries and a little earthiness. Red fruits, cherries, red plums and a little ferrous complexity. Easy-going, soft, moderate tannins. Remains quite precise, while digeste and sapid. (MH)
