Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2025-2035, Neal Martin, Jan 2023

The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes, aged in around 50% new oak, was again, too reduced to read on the nose at this stage. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, orange rind and elements of blue fruit. Quite focused, yet it tapers slightly on the finish at the moment.
