A Malbec from a hundred-year-old vineyard in Villa Bastías, Tupungato, that spent 18 months aging in 52% new French oak. Deep purple in the glass. The complex, detailed nose offers notes of sweetbriar, ripe and candied cherry, pencil box, cedar and a hint of kirsch followed by attractive floral aromas. Free and juicy on the palate, with good body and shapely, gentle tannins, heightened intensity and very, very, long finish.
