2018 Franciacorta Saten

The Ca' del Bosco 2018 Franciacorta Vintage Collection Satèn is 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Bianco with fruit sourced from 14 certified organic vineyards. It ferments in small oak casks and sees 48 months on the lees in the bottle. The bouquet is toasty and rich with a baked almond note followed by dried lemon curd, Golden Delicious apple and salted caramel. The effect is soft and broad, and the wine delivers a fleshed-out texture with subtle beading.
