Tasting notes
The 2022 Bourgogne Chardonnay is the usual blend of Auxerrois and Mâconnais must, and it has turned out nicely, delivering aromas of pears, apples, white flowers and fresh bread, followed by a medium-bodied, ample and fleshy palate that's pure and charming, nodding more to the south than the north this year.

Already bottled. 50% from Chablis and 50% from the Mâconnais, bought-in fruit. Fermented and aged one year on lees in tank. Smells so creamy. But also stony at the same time, a lovely combination, allied to bright, lively citrus. Dry, tight, mouth-watering, the length coming from that texture. (JH)
