Its opening scent immediately beguiles, revealing a complete synthesis of deliciously flinty reduction, white summer blossom and aromatic lemon, all made savory with stone. The palate is not just light but lithe, dancing on tiptoe and almost taking off, yet it is firmly anchored and concentrated at its fine, graceful core. This is Riesling expressed as ethereal essence rather than power, which suits it well as the notions sink deeper and deeper into minerality.
