Monopole. Mid to light cherry. Lifted red fruit. Sweet and flirtatious on the nose. Sweet and spicy on the palate too. Supple, rather gentle, not particularly fresh on the finish. (JH)

The 2015 Morey Saint Denis Clos des Rosiers was reduced from five to 2.5 barrels this year due to low yields and sunburnt bunches. It has a candied red berry fruit laced with orange peel on the nose. The palate is well balanced with a sorbet-like entry, the red fruit tinged with what I can only describe as a Lucozade-like note. It's well balanced with good energy and should provide relatively light and easy-drinking fare once in bottle.
