Score 89-91/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2018
Pale yellow. Ripe aromas of peach oil and nuts. A softer, riper, rounder style than the Meursault Blagny, offering a captivating touch of sweetness to its ripe yellow fruit flavors but not the lift or structure of the Blagny (Bouzereau's vines are a bit lower, near Truffières). Despite its thickness, this wine finishes with a firm edge. These vines were harvested with an average of 13% potential alcohol.
