The 2019 Pinot Noir Bishop Creek Vineyard opens with alluring cranberry, blueberry, lavender and licorice aromas with nuances of woodsmoke, tobacco, Earl Grey tea leaves and flint. The medium-bodied palate is powerfully structured and vibrant. It offers incredibly perfumed fruit and a very long, detailed finish. It's a great candidate for the cellar.

Lots of minerals and crushed berries with cherries and stones. Flowers, too. Medium body with iodine and orange peel. Stony and tight. Unfined and unfiltered. This needs four or five years to soften. Try after 2024.
