Tasting notes
Excellent wax and honey aromas – already showing lovely maturity. Creamy texture, ripe lemon fruit, white chocolate too. This is a very strong example of the Hunter Semillon style in its sheer typicality. (RH)

Translucent straw. Bright, sharply defined citrus and orchard fruit, floral and succulent herb aromas, along with a touch of waxiness. Shows very good energy and taut focus on the palate, offering bitter lemon pith and pear skin flavors that turn sweeter with air. The floral note repeats on the persistent, nervy finish, which leaves a suggestion of quinine behind.
Youthful lemon and lime aromas, plenty of spritz on the palate, with light body but no shortage of flavour concentration. Already showing a bit of the famous smokiness that comes with bottle age. Moderate acid, waxy texture, and perhaps a bit of bitterness just muddying the finish a touch. Seems a bit loose in structure. (RH)
