Score 88/100 · Drink 2023-2030, Neal Martin

The 2014 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru has one of the most pleasurable aromatics from this vintage I tasted after ten years: raspberry, wild strawberry and Indian spices. It has a lovely definition and more presence than many of its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet entry. This is where the challenges of the vintage become evident, as there is a nagging greenness on the finish that knocks it off kilter.
