Score 90-92/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2022
The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières opens in the glass with aromas of peach, bread dough, citrus oil and fresh herbs. Medium to full-bodied, lean and incisive, its delicately textural attack segues into a taut core and saline finish.

The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet les Folatières 1er Cru is fresh and delineated on the nose, scents of Granny Smith, kiwi fruit and a touch of wet limestone, reserved but with the energy to invite cellaring. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, spicier than Chartron’s other cuvées this vintage with more persistence on the finish. Excellent. Closure: Diam 11
