Tasting notes
The 2021 Abbazia di Rosazzo is spicy to the core, with a cascade of lemon zest, rosemary, ginger shavings and hints of pine forming its vibrant bouquet. Silken textures elevated by brisk acidity sweep across the palate as a pure mix of pit fruits and minerals unfolds. This wine is incredibly long and potent, with a stern salty note that pinches at the cheeks as the mouth waters, and a twang of sour melon fades. The contrasting nature of the 2021 Abbazia di Rosazzo is wildly attractive. It is a single-vineyard blend of Friulano, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Malvasia and Ribolla Gialla.

A restrained wine with aromas of minerals, herbs, stones, dried flowers, elderflowers, citrus zest, gooseberries, pink grapefruit and white chocolate. Very silky and medium-bodied, focused on pure elegance, with crisp if not zesty acidity and a long, salty finish. Outstanding. Drink or hold.
