Tasting notes
Medium bright red. Aromas of red fruits, sweet vanillin oak and spun sugar. Smooth, ripe and classically dry on the palate, with lovely inner-mouth perfume to the flavors of cherry, raspberry and white pepper. Finishes with spicy wood tannins and excellent length.

Medium red. Aromas of plum, redcurrant, mocha and chocolatey oak. Fresh and lively in the mouth, with stony mineral energy giving the wine a light touch. Really wonderfully detailed wine, with vibrant red fruit and rose petal elements that reminded me of a Rousseau wine. An excellent example from very shallow soil over stones.
About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
