Tasting notes
Good medium red. Reticent aromas of plum and chocolate. The roundest and fattest of these 2004s; lacks the delineation, lift and purity of a top year, but there's good sweetness to the plum, leather and earth flavors. Finishes with fairly substantial tannins that call for a couple years of patience.

Good full red. Reticent aromas of cherry, spices and minerals. Juicy and leanish, with hints of leather and iron. Quite closed today. Finishes with a mineral severity.
