Score 92-94/100 · Drink 2019-2035, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2017

The 2016 Pommard 1er Cru Les Grands Epenots was the most generous yields for the domaine this year at 22 hectoliters per hectare. It has a captivating bouquet with black cherries, blueberry and touches of violet, well defined and focused, really articulating the vineyard with zeal and aplomb. The palate is well balanced with succulent ripe black fruit, quite caressing int he mouth with very good substance and poise on the spice-tinged finish. Bon vin!
