So tropical and generous! Really delicious oak integration here, with flesh and dairy texture. Vegetal notes, herbs and lemons on the finish. Even a hint of caramel. Not what's always expected for Sancerre, but still has a sense of place. (RH)

The 2020 Sancerre Petit Chemarin vineyard is incredibly chalky, and that comes through in the wine's texture, almost as if you've dissolved a soluble aspirin. Fresh but ripe, red apples meet a light autolysis-derived pastry note in this tender, pure and elegant Sancerre. The chalky veil combines with the fine acidity, producing a lightly structured and clean conclusion.
