Score 86-88/100 · Drink 2018-2023, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2017

The 2016 St Romain le Jarron Village (which was blended with another vineyard in 2015) has an attractive peach skin and apricot-scented bouquet, nicely defined, a pretty wine that I can see will have wide commercial appeal. The palate is well balanced with a light spicy entry, moderate acidity with good weight in the mouth and a slightly saline finish. Mark said it should be twelve barrels but there are only four.
