Tasting notes
Bright, light yellow. Musky, deep scents of lemon, lime and crushed-stone minerality, plus an exotic, almost Riesling-like suggestion of orange blossom. Wonderfully silky, concentrated wine with terrific volume and inner-mouth saline minerality. A serious but suave rocky wine with a seamless texture and terrific thrust. A great showing today, but balanced for a graceful evolution in bottle. The long, rising finish displays yellower notes of pineapple and orange. This densely packed yet weightless wine boasts terrific purity.

Pale yellow. Restrained scents of apple, lemon-lime and white flowers. Lovely silky texture with savory intensity. Tactile, energetic and very dry (just 0.2 grams per liter r.s., according to Boillot). Made from vines on very shallow soil over hard rock, this minerally wine is more backward than the rest of Boillot's premier crus in 2016.
