Score 92-94/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2022

More reserved than the Narbantons and Jarrons, Guillemot's 2020 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Serpentières shows considerable promise, unwinding to reveal notions of cherries, plums and red berries mingled with hints of warm spices and summer truffle. Medium to full-bodied, layered and multidimensional, it's deep and velvety, with bright acids and powdery tannins. It's hard to choose between this and its immediate predecessor, the 2019, but readers who acquire both the 2020 and 2019 renditions will be amply rewarded, whether they compare them or not.
