Score 92-93/100 · Drink 2021-2032, David Schildknecht, Vinous, Mar 2021

Scents of lanolin and lightly toasted resin from barrel accompany site-typical sweet corn and mint. The palate is caressingly silken-textured and enveloping, at once luscious in its evocation of ripe white peach and sweet corn, and subtly cooling in its mintiness, with oak influence happily backing off. Hints of walnut and peach kernel serve for piquant counterpoint on a chalk-tinged finish of resonance, depth and persistence. Bottling was due at the end of 2019 or early in 2020.
