Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2024-2032, Neal Martin, Jan 2023

The 2021 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Champs Chevreys 1er Cru has a little more stuffing on the nose compared to the Les Lavières, with clean and pure red fruit. The palate is well-balanced with supple tannins. It's cohesive with a judicious touch of white pepper and is nicely poised towards the finish. Maybe just missing a little verve, but it should drink well for several years.
