The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Les Chaumes 1er Cru, located close to the church in Vosne near Noëllat, has a more open red berry nose with more Pinoté than the Bossières. The oak here is well integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with saturated tannins, tart red fruit laced with orange zest leading to a vibrant, almost tart finish. Light on its feet, but intense, this should age with style.
