Tasting notes
Mid ruby. Good floral typicality with rose, red cherries and strawberry. No wood – giving a clean, fresh palate. Elegant and light of foot. It is still intensely flavoured and toned. In a word, athletic. (MH)

Full bottle 1,310 g. Intensely sweet, ripe fruit, and so much of it that it feels as if it's brimming out of the glass. Shining with lucidity. There is a flute-like melody that rills through lilliputian tannins (small, slender, but determined). A real joy to taste. A wine that is made for the sheer pleasure of drinking it. You'll want to lick every drop out the glass. (TC)
The 2022 Fleurie has a slightly pinched nose that suggests decanting will prize the bouquet open. Light floral notes begin to show through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a fresh entry, moderate depth and a light marine note on the finish. It just needs a little more complexity, but otherwise: fine.
