2011 Grands Echezeaux

Good deep red. Distinctly feral aromas of cherry, roast coffee and musky game. Rich and suave in texture but quite dry and uncompromising too, with a strongly reductive quality and a leathery element currently drying the cherry, herb and pepper flavors. If this bottle is representative, I wonder where this wine can go.
