Score 89/100 · Drink 2016-2024, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2014

The 2013 Savigny-les-Beaune les Fourneaux has a perfumed, clean and floral bouquet with red cherries, fresh strawberry and rose-petal scents that are nicely defined. It is bears some similarity with the Bourgeots. It has balsamic-tinged entry with crisp acidity, fine tannin and a light, tart red-berry finish that is imbued with a touch of salinity, thus begging a second sip. Fine.
