2002 Moutere Pinot Noir

I include this review for the sake of getting something on the 2002 Moutere Pinot Noir into the WA database. Rosie Finn bravely pulled this out of the library on the occasion of my visit. It's bricking in color, showing mature notes of leather and dried leaves, but it remains silky and fine in texture on the palate, adding hints of mocha on the finish. While still enjoyable, it was surely better a few years ago.
