Tasting notes
The 2019 Château Cambon La Pelouse showed nicely, with a complex, spicy, perfumed style as well as notes of more red and black fruits, dried flowers, cedary herbs, and spice. This medium-bodied, elegant Haut-Médoc is already drinking nicely and should last for 7-8 years.

The 2019 Cambon la Pelouse is a rich, extracted wine delivering aromas of ripe berry fruit and toasty new oak, followed by a medium to full-bodied, firm and chewy palate. It's a bit blocky and astringent out of the gates, though time may be kind to it.
The 2019 Cambon La Pelouse has a delineated bouquet of graphite/pencil box aromas and ample black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy blackberry and raspberry fruit, fine definition and good substance on the finish. This should age with style.
The 2019 Cambon La Pelouse is a powerful, burly Haut-Médoc. Black cherry, iron, tar, licorice, game, incense and tobacco all add to an impression of gravitas. There's real depth here, along with plenty of character.
