Score 90/100 · Drink 2025-2040, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2024
The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Village is fleshy and succulent, bursting with aromas of orange zest, peonies, cassis and sweet red berries. Medium to full-bodied, ample and seamless, it will offer a broad drinking window. It's produced from eight different old-vine parcels dotted all over the commune.

Cask sample. Juicy and easy – much more transparent than most. Long and fun. (JR)

The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has a light nose with crushed stone and airy red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins that frame smoothly textured blueberry and dark cherries, though there is little grip on the finish. That said, it will provide pleasurable early drinking for several years.
