The 2018 Pinot Blanc Wehlener Klosterberg ** is very deep, intense and clear on the dense and complex yet fresh nose that displays phenolic aromas that will oxidize with more aeration. This is also a massive Pinot Blanc on the palate and reveals an enormously rich and concentrated, powerful and monumental wine with an elegant, even crystalline mineral structure that leads this massive and intense wine to a sustainable finish that once more pairs power and richness with finesse and elegance. Slightly bitter on the aftertaste. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.
