Tasting notes
AP number 24 21. Pure, stone-laced lime fruit. Like a layer of stone dust through the fruit. Intense, almost sour-fresh intensity and piercing fruit. So concentrated and pure with great length. Embryonically complex. GV (JH)

Full bottle 1,226 g. Brilliantly etched crystalline fruit that's already accessible and, despite luscious notes of bright passion fruit on the nose, finishes up bone dry with a sort of kick of dry stoniness and vibrant persistence. When you smell it you think it's going to be sweet, but you'd be wrong. This wine is bright as a button, tastes lighter than 12.5% alcohol, and serves as a delightful memorial to Wilhelm Haag, father of winemaker Oliver, who died in 2020. (JR)
Cool fragrance of peach with a pinch of clove. Grapefruit with a piquant bitter notion and the firm flesh of peach share the fruity honours on the palate and are backed by a solid mineral expression. Juicy and compact at the same time. (MS)
The Mosel equivalent to Corton-Charlemagne in Burgundy. This is so focused and has so much primal energy. Very firm core of minerals, fine tannins and citrus-zest character on the medium body, which also power the very long, crisp finish thatâs rather bold. Drink or hold.
