Score 91-93/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2024
Aromas of cherries, dark berries, plums, raw cocoa and spices introduce the 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Bousselots, a medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered wine with supple tannins, lively acids and a sapid finish. It's a touch deeper-pitched and more structured than the Chaignots.

0.6 ha (1.48 acres); 60-year-old vines. Cask sample. Bright-mid cherry. Marked red fruits of cherry, strawberry and currants. Floral note adds pretty lift. Lovely juicy fruit, but this is quite complete. The acidity remains discreet, but driving. Rich flavours on the palate and showing great balance between sweet fruit, juicy acidity and medium-plus body. Young, but lovely. (MH)
