Tasting notes
Very pale ruby. Zesty, relatively light but with good freshness. Desperately needs food. But good persistence. (JR)

The 2018 Barbaresco Rabajà is broad and ample in feel, as wines from this site tend to be. Dried rose petal, mint, licorice, black cherry and incense lend striking aromatic presence, but the Rabajà is mostly notable for its overall resonance and feel. Ripeness feels just a bit pushed, but for wines that can be a bit austere in their youth, that is not a bad outcome at all.
Barbaresco. Tasted blind. Just mid ruby with orange tinges. Ripe and a little rich. Sweetly perfumed with baking-spice notes and a hint of gingerbread. Cherry palate with lots of juicy acidity and polished tannins. A real charmer. Long and succulent. (WS)
