Tasting notes
Palish ruby with broad, bricky rim. Pretty, ripe fruit nose and lovely energy and juiciness on the palate. Stylish and not that obviously from a hot vintage, except for the firm tannins. Ready now. (WS )

Has a little of the herbaceousness of the Rosso. Fine raspberry fruit, really transparent and dancing on the palate but for some this may be too light. Elegant and with fine muscular tannins. Ready! (WS)
The 2009 Brunello di Montalcino is pretty and supple on the palate, but the flavors are also quite forward. Dried cherries, sweet tobacco, wild flowers, mint and anise meld together in a delicate, mature Brunello to drink now and over the next few years.
Mid ruby with an orange. Intense, spicy, peppery with dried fruit and cherry notes and a hint of tar and leather. Juicy fruit followed by firm but ripe tannins. Mouthfilling aromatics. Lean but complex and still has to find its balance. Great potential. (WS)
